A Good Time for a Change
It seems fitting on the day Tony Blair departs from office that we should meet with guitar pop group Ash. The band had just exploded onto the scene with the riotous pop rock album 1977 as Blair’s bid for power was gathering momentum in 1996. Over the past decade or so, Ash have outlasted Britpop, bankruptcy, break-ups and even Tony Blair himself. They join us to discuss new beginnings, stable peace in Northern Ireland and their fifth album Twilight of the Innocents. >>
